How the Club is Run

The club is organised and run by a committee comprising a President, Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Secretary, Rambles Secretary and six general committee members. A large number of club members volunteer to organise events, social occasions, holidays, and of course, lead walks for the club.

The Hon. Secretary is the contact point for the club for general correspondence and enquiries.

The Hon. Membership Secretary is the person to contact regarding new members and renewal of membership.

The Hon. Rambles Secretary is responsible for putting together the programme of walks each half year, for publication at the end of June and December.

There is an AGM each March where the committee can discuss with the membership issues that need addressing and where members can raise matters of concern.
